Design Engineer £30k to £35k / Free parking, innovative and exciting productOpportunities for development, enviable reputation Newtown Powys Permanent, Full-Time 8.00 am to 5pm Monday to Friday Growing OEM due to growth is looking for an experienced Solidworks Design Engineer to join an existing design team .Designing new machinery and products. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of engineering and gained experienced in a manufacturing environment with demonstrable experience using SolidWorks. Key Duties: Producing drawings and technical support using 3D Solidworks software. Producing drawings for approval, information & manufacture for both internal departments and external parties. Producing specifications for products in line with the organisations product range requirements. Ad hoc project work as allocated by directors. Adhering to company health, safety, quality and environmental policies at all times. Candidate Requirements: Experience using Solidworks package essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Design/drawing experience essential. Willing to take ownership of tasks. Proactive and methodical approach to work. Fully computer literate and strong numeracy.
