Overview

This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced Banking Paralegal to join a global law firm in their Manchester office. The successful candidate will join this successful & well-regarded banking team and provide support to fee earners with a variety of tasks. Duties and responsibilities: Conduct legal research and the preparation of case summaries Assisting with transaction completion activities Being the first point of contact, dealing with enquiries wherever possible and taking detailed messages to be communicated to the file handler Ensure filing systems and other information systems are maintained to the firm's standard Assisting with transaction completion activities Using the Case Management system on a daily basis and use of standard documentation Participate in meetings with clients, taking notes and preparing summaries or minutes of meeting Post-closing follow up Draft legal instruments and correspondence Aid with the set up and organisation of training documents/presentations Ensure confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation Ensuring all documents comply to company style and standards Administrative work (post completion) Generation of banking documentation. Person specification: Previous experience within a Banking/Corporate Paralegal capacity Strong understanding of legal practices Excellent written and verbal communication ability Highly organised and methodical approach to the role Attention to detail and the confidence to work independently Self-motivated, hardworking, reliable and works well under pressure.
