Overview
Assistant Accountant - 12 month contract Based: Blackburn Salary: Up to 25k Our client, a fantastic growing family business based in Blackburn are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their team to cover maternity. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of assisting with Management Accounts. You will be reporting to the Financial controller. Some of the duties are as follows: Role: Bank reconcilliations Balance sheet reconcilliations Fixed Assets Accruals and prepayments Purchase ledger - 3 way Dealing with queries Assist with management accounts preparation VAT reviews and support on system maintenance Support with information and reporting requirements Drive continual process improvements and efficiencies within department, working closely with IT Ensure a strong internal control and compliance environment If you are interested in hearing more about this role please send your CV to for immediate consideration Please only apply if you have experience in the above role.
