Overview

SENIOR SUPPORT PROGRAMMER - IMPLEMENTATION Job Function Roles Application development/enhancement for Kantar Marketing Panels, including shopping, non-foods, usage and consumer viewing/internet behaviour. Software development for medium to large scale deliverables as projects. Delivery of Project implementation by adhering and working to project plans. Demonstrating a strong collaborative behaviour with the Project Management Team. Collaboration with project stake holders and users to meet deadlines. Adherence to team software implementation, change control and documentation standards. Support Implementation Manager in meetings and assistance with planning and implementation. Assistance and Guidance to System Support Team where required. Tasks Detail Commitment to working closely with Project Sponsors, providing continuous feedback. Attendance of Project Huddles and contribution to the on-going work streams, including updates and advice to aid the effective running of a project. Agile working utilising Scrum – sprints, Kanban Highlighting bottleneck issues around the project plan to both Project Sponsor and Implementation Manager. Communication of tasked work to Implementation Manager, aiding the tracking and project planning process. Work to plan, showing focus to delivering the task to time. Documentation of developed solutions and implementations to team standards. Subject Matter Expert focused shadowing, aiding panel business rules knowledge transfer. Knowledge share, both as a recipient and also planning of knowledge share to others. Working alongside Implementation Manager to assist with day to day duties, including offering advice, assistance with planning and meeting delegation. Responsible handling and leadership, when exposed to critical support issues acting as a Subject Matter Expert. Collaboration with peers working on same work stream / project. Commitment to solutions, enhancements and process efficiencies to help develop the team. Provide 2nd line assistance to System Support Team when required. Attend meetings with other areas of Operations and Commercial in order to understand requirements for software development. Utilise technical and programming skills to understand the business rules behind the panels. Call upon innovative skills, engendering solutions to common recurring problems. Through root-cause analysis, specify a feasible solution to recurring data issues/bugs. Active contribution to team meetings and positive input to new process, business requests. Translate business requirements into project specifications and delivery timelines. Gain new skills/technologies by way of shadowing, training, self-learning. Demonstrate understanding of the teams directives in order to delivering the objectives for Business Support, Operations and the wider business.
