Overview

First class financial planning firm based within the Fareham area who have been providing professional and honest advice to a longstanding group of clients for over 15 years have a exciting position that has arisen in the business. As the Practice Manager you will work very closely alongside the Director to drive the business as per the agreed Business Plan. You will have 3 direct reports who you will provide technical and leadership support to. Ideally you will have an understanding of the financial planning products from current/ previous positions, and industry relevant qualifications are desirable. Although you must have experience within business management experience, team management and project management experience. You will be highly organised, methodical, analytical and disciplined whilst having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will understand the importance or HR/ management and show strong, yet supportive leadership skills. Your day to day duties will be varied, covering elements of HR, Processes and Procedures, Compliance, Financial Services, Marketing and IT. Duties such as: Ensure company’s core values are fully embedded in all business activities. Document and coordinate the implementation of the Business Plan. Chair monthly Management and monthly Level 10 meetings. Create internal service standards, and effective business processes and procedures. Review business policies, processes, procedures, and internal service standards on an ongoing basis in relation to client satisfaction, profitability, and efficiency. Oversee the delivery of all general office and business administration, ensuring all legislative and business requirements are met. Manage the team and their workload to achieve and set business goals. Arrange employment of new staff and terminations/resignations of existing staff. Establish performance objectives and training and development plans for the team and review at least annually. Oversee general accounting functions e.g. payroll, bookkeeping and invoicing. Prepare financial statements and forecasts for the business (cashflow forecasts, annual budget, and relevant MI information). Fee and Commission reconciliation on iO Monitor all IT systems to ensure their optimal usage. Oversee marketing plans, objectives, and programmes within the context of the overall Business Plan.
