Overview

I am recruiting for a Financial Controller for a growing company for their Denbighshire site. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group FD whilst supporting day to day activities of the site. Key Responsibilities Forecasting & monitoring business performance and cash flow Cash flow management including control of debtors Creating budgets & analysing variance Point of contact for IT & overseeing Comms generally Supporting commercial decision-making Supervising and managing and finance administration Preparing clear, transparent and accurate monthly & annual statutory accounts Processing of sales and purchase invoices and maintaining purchase ledgers Day-to-day banking Processing payroll Managing employee expenses and company credit cards Person Specification Fully qualified to ACA/ACCA or CIMA Good commercial & business awareness, preferably from a manufacturing background Excellent people skills Strong Excel skills Sound IT skills Analytical, enquiring mind Good problem solving skills & tenacity Independent thinker Good prioritisation & skills to focus Data-centric bias in decision-making
