Overview
I have an urgent requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join excellent rapidly growing client, based near Swindon, on a temporary basis. The primary duties and responsibilities are detailed below; Familiar with financial statements and accounting principles; Analytical and detail conscious; Previous accounting experience ideally within a large Company/Group environment; Ability to deal with complexity, keeping up to date with Commercial developments in a changing environment; Knowledge of SAP required; Advanced excel skills required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to liaise with both finance and non-finance colleagues up to Director level; Ability to communicate and guide direct reports; Ability to present financial information using appropriate media to senior management; Ability to deal with confidential material in an appropriate manner; Ability to challenge work of others in an effective but sensitive manner; A focus on problem solving and ability to liaise with a number of departments to obtain optimum solutions; Ability to influence stakeholders; Ability to balance requirements of multiple stakeholders; Awareness of customers and business partners Day rate between £165 and £200 per day PAYE or Umbrella.
