Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join Europe's leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical connectors, cables and accessories The company expect 40% growth over the next 12 months and can offer long term, stable career opportunities also with future progression. The role of the Assembly Operative is to ensure that the production and quality targets are achieved daily and continue to ensure that improvements are made within the department. The position requires workers to build small electronic products using techniques such as soldering, wiring and assembling. Previous electrical assembly experience is highly desirable. This position would suit an individual with an eye for detail, a steady hand and the willingness to learn and pursue a career in electronic manufacturing. This is a full time, temporary to permanent position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm. There is the option to compress your hours and enjoy a midday finish on a Friday. The temporary hourly rate of pay will be in line with National Living Wage. Once taken on a permanent contract there are fantastic additional benefits such as 32 days annual leave growing with length of service, attendance bonus, monthly bonus based on productivity and a generous pension contribution.
