Overview

Superb opportunity You will be working for a leading Electronics organisation based in Chertsey, Surrey. Please only apply if you speak fluent Korean. The purpose of the role is to support (i) the relationship between Europe HQ and Korea HQ (ii) to provide expatriate management (iii) supporting the delivery within Europe of a range of HR innovation projects that have been initiated by global headquarters and (iv) to support the management and administration of essential global standard HR processes within Europe. As a rough guide, it is anticipated that items (i) and (ii) will take the majority of working time. The role will require substantial and regular interaction with a wide variety of partners. These will include the global HR function in Korea, various interested parties within Europe Office and HR Heads and team members within the European subsidiaries. The role will report into the person responsible for the communications with Korea HQ, expatriate management and other issues. However, some activities in items (iii) and (iv) will require dotted line reporting to either HR Senior managers for Projects, HR Planning or the Head of the HR Team. Formal reporting-lines notwithstanding, the daily emphasis will always be on close coordination, communication and collaboration across all colleagues, as befits a small team within a big organization. What will be your key deliverables? Communication between European Headquarters and Korea HQ Respond to general queries and reporting requests from Korea HQ. Support wider HR Team with projects as the need arises. Support the management and administration of essential global standard HR processes within Europe. Coordinate a variety of administrative tasks with regard to the onboarding of new expatriates. Assist with expatriate allowances and compensation. Assist administration of expatriate benefits and review the expat lease cars/house/fuel report monthly basis and providing administrative support to the team Coordinate to manage expatriate assignments and a variety of administrative tasks with regard to the onboarding of new expatriates and off boarding of leaving expatriates that also includes to follow up on visa process such as CoS etc Compile and analyse reports and create ad-hoc reports as required.
