We have new wake night and day time support worker vacancies - apply now Male Support Workers required £8.88ph Location: Wigmore, Gillingham Role Overview:- 351 Maidstone Road is one of our residential homes in Wigmore, Gillingham, Kent. This service specialises in supporting individuals with Learning disabilities to grow and develop. We support four males aged between 18- 64 with complex needs such as; Learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and who present challenging behaviour in a proactive way. We support people with all aspects of everyday life from personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, attending health appointments, support with finances, social activities and outings. Due to the nature of the role we require candidates with experience in working with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours Requirements:- Your duties will also include: Helping the people we support to learn new skills. Assisting with day to day living tasks. Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential. Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible. Providing personal care. Moving and handling needs Support with medication and complex clinical needs. Companionship. Support to access activities and socialise with others.
