Job Description Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit a Support for Learning Worker for placement within Smithycroft Secondary School. You will be providing one to one support for an individual Teacher assisting with practical elements within the Home Economics Department and supporting young people. The hours to be worked are Monday 8.30 -12.30, Thursday 11.30 - 1.30 and Friday 8.30 - 2.30 playing a key role in providing support and assistance to an individual Teacher and also include the provision of care and support to children whilst building positive working relationships and promoting positive behaviour. This position also includes the provision of support with the supervision and administration of medication and intimate personal care. Please note successful candidates are required to pay for their PVG Scheme Membership/Scheme Checks and regulatory body membership.
