MALE SUPPORT WORKERS BOURNEMOUTH AND POOLE AREAS 36 OR 42 HOUR PERMANENT CONTRACTS DAYS OR NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE 8AM TO 8PM OR 8PM TO 8AM £10.20 PER HOUR Our clients based in Bournemouth, are very progressive organisation providing people with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Complex Care, daily support and care. Currently we wish to recruit experienced Male Support Workers or Male Care Assistants to provide an individual 24/7 care and support. You must have Care Assistant or Support Worker experience. The Service User enjoys going out every day to engage in active activities such as long walks, swimming, trampolining and using his scooter. He also enjoys sensory activities, watching his favourite DVD’s, using his swing, cooking etc. Ideal applicant for the Male Support Worker role should have some Care or Support Worker experience, with either Learning Disabilities or Mental Health or Dementia or Challenging Behaviour experience. The service user needs applicants to give him confidence, patience, understanding and reassuring him when he is anxious. Also you must be motivated to support the service user to access his preferred activities while making sure he and others are safe.
