FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER FOR DAYS ON A 42 PERMANENT HOUR CONTRACT IN PRIVATE RESIDENCE FOR 3 FEMALES IN POOLE. PROVIDING CARE AND SUPPORT FOR YOUNG ADULTS. WE ARE CURRENTLY SOURCING APPLICANTS FOR A 3 PERSON ONLY SUPPORTED LIVING SITE FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES / MENTAL HEALTH REQUIREMENTS VERY CLOSE TO POOLE HOSPITAL. Looking after 3 residents our client has a spacious house in Poole looking after 3 residents mainly bi-polar. You will be working with a full team offering support working for a UK national highly recognised company. Very close to Poole Hospital easily accessable with public transport. Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them in the communal areas. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living which will include personal care and dealing with challenging behaviour and nonverbal communication. What is the job? A Learning Difficulties Support worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respecting their independence. Hours could be a mix of shifts between 7am to 11pm and include straight long day shifts for the day role - contract will include one weekend on and one off. As part of a local team you maybe required to work in other units in the local area. What we are looking for?
