Salary: From £18,250 to £21,556 per annum DOE + £36 per sleep-in

Overview

We are looking for caring Children’s Support Workers living close to the Southampton area of Hampshire. This role is based in Salisbury, but is easily commutable from Winchester (25mins), Totton and Eling, Eastleigh, Southampton and surrounding towns and villages. As this job has long shifts, if you live further afield, you will be happily considered. No Experience is required, but you must be over the age of 21, and have a full UK Driving License. No Experience is Required Although this role poses many different challenges, our client is confident in their abilities to train and support you to become a fully qualified Residential Support Worker. This service support children with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism, Challenging Behaviours, or those who may have suffered significant trauma and abuse. As their Support Worker, you will be key in helping create a safe environment for the young people to flourish. You will help them with education and life skills, and ultimately, their independence. You will work with them using trauma informed practices to help them to respond to things that have happened in their lives, maximising the chance of a positive and lasting future. Salary, Hours & Benefits £18,250 - £21,556 per annum DOE. £36 per sleep-in (6 sleeps over 3 weeks, an extra £216 per month). Full time hours will include, days, sleeps and alternate weekends. Week 1- 3 sleeps as part of your daily rota. Week 2- 2 sleeps as part of your daily rota. Week 3- 1 sleep as part of your daily rota.
