Overview
Dartmouth are working with a globally renowned Media Company that owns and operates several of the most popular brands in television and film worldwide. Due to rapid expansion they are looking for a senior financial accountant to join their London team. The role is an ideal first move for someone coming straight from practice that is looking to utilise their skills and build a career in a well-established Media Company. Responsibilities Regular cash flow forecasting, monthly bank reconciliations and weekly bank reporting Monthly Programming Assets & Liabilities reporting responsibilities and other ad hoc analysis tasks Ensuring strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in current controls Recommending and assisting implementation of new and improved controls Lead the preparation of all local statutory accounts (under FRS 102) and assist with the preparation/review of 2 international statutory accounts Key point of contact for external auditors Ownership of the cash flow reporting process Monthly reporting of actual cashflows and updates of forecasting models Internal testing of all current SOX controls as required by Internal Audit Support development of current internal processes and controls to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with corporate governance Monthly preparation and analysis of the Programme Asset & Programme Liability position for the UK Group Requirements Newly Qualified ACA (ideally from a small practice - not big 4) Experience of statutory reporting Knowledge of Oracle (preferable) Experience with UK GAAP and SOX (preferable)
