JOB – Manufacturing Manager / Director LOCATION – Epping TERM- Permanent SALARY – £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (plus bonus) We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager / Director on a permanent basis in the Epping / Essex area within the manufacturing industry. Your main duties will include managing and coaching the manufacturing team within an assembly manufacturing environment. The Manufacturing Manager / Director will ideally have the following attributes: Previous experience working as a Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager Previous experience of managing a Manufacturing team of 60 staff. Exposure to electrical / electromechanical assembly manufacturing. Experience of running a CNC / machining / Fabrication shop. Can communicate with other members of staff and other members of management. Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to coach and train a team. Understanding of machining and turning manufacturing - beneficial The Manufacturing Manager / Director role will involve: Liaising with other members of management to correct any production issues. Oversee the purchase of capital equipment and their financial justifications. Coaching and training the manufacturing team to improve efficiency. Managing day to day activities of the production team. Training other members of your department. Assuring health and safety obligations are met.
