Overview
An International Global communications group with offices in over 80 countries is looking to expand its healthcare operations in the UK by appointing an Account Manager to its PR Division based in Southwark which houses the biggest healthcare communications team outside of North America. This is a company that thrives on creating the most innovative medical communications and PR programmes around and they employ the cutting edge of technology to help their clients to achieve the highest market penetration. As an Account Manager you will work on a mix of existing and new global or pan-European pharmaceutical accounts, leading junior members of the team and working with practice management on new business initiatives. Candidates must be able to develop relationships with KOL's, clinical, industry and hospital bodies, both UK and international, and have knowledge of opinion leader profiles by identifying knowledge to build a current database and develop additional activity. We are interested in candidates who are currently Senior Account Executives or equivalent, or those with more experience up to Account Manager level as long as you have several years’ experience of working within a healthcare communications agency. The ideal candidate must demonstrate detailed knowledge of the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical market place. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential for a successful application.
