Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join our client’s team in Chippenham. This is a great opportunity to develop in your career and progress into an HR Advisor role. The Company Our client has more than 45 years’ combined experience of working with charities, helping them raise over £100 million in fundraising income. They help charities raise money through their best-in-market services, which include charity raffles, lotteries, response handling, fulfilment & direct debit management. The Role As HR Assistant, you will deliver HR Support to both Managers and Staff, ensuring staff feel valued, respected, motivated and engaged with the business. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with HR Strategy Ensuring payroll information is collated and payroll is prepared for all employees accurately to prescribed deadlines Ensuring all HR documentation is completed accurately and issued as per Company policies and procedures Processing new starters, changes and leavers documentation Issuing contracts to staff ensure copies are placed in the employees personnel file Ensuring that PCI/GDPR is kept up to date, Role Base Profile and HR security policies and procedures are adhered to Assisting and supporting investigations and complex employee relations / issues Minute taking for HR meetings Ensuring the company HR reporting system is kept up to date and relevant Assisting with monitoring all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness Assisting and coordinating work placement and apprenticeship processes Managing HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up to date Where necessary assisting with Health and Safety, Occupational Health, DSE and staff welfare About You To be successful in your application for the role of HR Assistant, you will need to have / be: Minimum 3 years HR experience Minimum Level 3 CIPD required Payroll administration experience Competent IT skills Excel at intermediate level, SharePoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills, note taking skills Self-motivated with genuine drive and enthusiasm Able to work with minimal supervision Must be organised with the ability to manage tight deadlines Strong analytical skills, good commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail Able to work in a confidential manner and handle sensitive information appropriately Rewards For the role of HR Assistant, there is a salary on offer of £22,000 to £24,000 per annum depending upon experience.
