Overview

My client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. The Payroll Administrator would be supporting the Payroll Manager in preparing both daily and weekly payrolls. The Payroll Administrator will: Manage and administer the payroll and expenses inbox, processing payroll schedules and dealing with any incoming payroll enquires Process authorised advance payments and holiday pay requests Input P45 submissions for new starters Calculate statutory payment claims received by employees Produce daily and weekly reports for the accounts department Answer any payroll or invoicing enquiries and resolve within a timely manner Assist in completing bank reconciliations from timesheets/invoices Assist in preparing and administering in all aspects of daily payroll Liaise with agencies and contractors on any payroll related issues Issue and receive daily or weekly reporting from HMRC Complete bank reconciliations from waiting timesheets and/or invoices to payments received and identify and resolve with clients or internal staff any discrepancies which may arise Prepare and administer all aspects of daily payrolls and running routines in accordance with agreed deadlines and schedule, ensuring all clients are processed on the applicable payrolls as agreed within the SLA Work effectively with other departments within the group to maintain excellent standards of service The ideal candidate will: Ideally have previous experience within a payroll position Have a minimum of 6 months' working within a busy and fast paced office environment Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Have excellent communication skills; both verbal and written Be an efficient problem solver Ideally have a working knowledge of working with payroll systems, merit software preferable Ideally have experience of working in an umbrella or outsourced payroll environment Woking hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, with an hour for lunch and Fridays 8.30am to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
