Battery Operative Salary: £18,000-£24,000 per year, depending on experience Van Health Cash Plan Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Luton - Mobile/Field based role Company/Position My client is a dynamic market leader within the motive power industry. They have a passion for service excellence which has contributed to their rapid growth within the last few years. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Battery Operative to work on a mobile basis cleaning and topping up motive power batteries. You will travel to client sites to clean forklift batteries and ensure they are topped up. They have another Battery Operative covering the North so you will predominantly cover the south. Example of Responsibilities: Cleaning battery cells Topping up lead acid batteries Adhering to health & safety policies at all times Providing an excellent level of customer service Representing company in a positive manner Ensuring work area is kept clean at all times Working in a team environment Essential skills: Full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points Good attention to detail Experience in an engineering environment would be advantageous however not essential Excellent Communication skills Ability to work well within a team environment Apply now to be considered for this excellent opportunity.
