Overview
Well-run privately owned business who count some of the UK's most well known brands amongst their customer base are looking to appoint a Finance Manager due to retirement. They have recently launched a new division and working closely with a supportive Finance Director this role offers the opportunity to: Deliver transformative change within the finance function ensuring that IT systems are maximised Develop training plans for existing staff ensuring that each person has a well defined and rewarding role Play a pivotal role in developing MI for the business supporting key decision making This position should appeal to someone who is currently managing a finance function within an SME and is looking for a new challenge enabling them to make a mark quickly. Applications would also be encouraged from nearly/newly qualified accountants (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) who offer a broad skillset and are perhaps seeking their first management role. To be considered you should have proven management accounting ability, solid IT skills (Sage 200 experience advantageous) and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
