Finance Manager Based: Burnley Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience, good benefits Our client is a supportive charity based in the East Lancashire area. The company are forward thinking, progressive and have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline for 2020. They are looking for a Finance Manager to join the team taking full responsibility for the business financials Role: Managing, maintaining and developing the finance function Responsible for all financial reporting for the charity, implementing and developing financial controls Cash flow modelling and forecasting - immediate and long term Preparing, reviewing and repositioning organisational budgets, amending when necessary Preparing monthly management accounts for the CEO and board Business partnering with budget holders, senior management and various departments internally Presenting financial position and performance to the board at quarterly meetings Preparing annual consolidated group and subsidiary statutory accounts and annual reports First POC for all audit and HMRC queries Submitting quarterly VAT returns and monthly VAT returns for further subsidiary Developing new strategies for VAT and Gift Aid processes Completing charity commission and companies house returns Applying operational and financial leadership as a member of the Senior Management Team. Experience: ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Knowledge of charity finance and governance compliance highly desirable Excellent attention to detail Pro-active in your work and able to use initiative Please send your CV for immediate consideration
