Overview
A manufacturing company which has achieved consistent growth and is now positioning itself to double in turnover over the next 5 years is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in the development of the organisation. This is a "number one" finance role on site, with "Finance Director" potential within the short to medium term, reports to the Managing Director and comes with a number of opportunities: Potential to re-focus the finance function, assessing requirements in line with future plans and making it fit for purpose for the planned growth Support the development of the commercial reporting function, working closely with department heads Drive efficiencies within the finance department and lead cost saving initiatives across the organisation To be considered for this role you should be experienced in managing a finance function with proven leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels. You should hold a formal accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and previous experience within a manufacturing company is desirable.
