Overview
Head of Finance needed for a brand new post within the Charity Sector. Working as a key member of the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO this is a fantastic opportunity for a No.1 in finance. This role will be responsible for modernising the current finance systems and processes in order to allow the organisation to grow comfortably over the next few years. The key responsibilities of the Head of Finance will be: To review the current financial systems and processes, identifying any key efficiencies that can be made and implementing them on their own initiative To oversee and ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the financial function and the finance team preparation of the annual statutory accounts Assist and support internal stakeholders with the production of clear and concise financial information and providing guidance to inform decision making Support the production of organisational funding bids and financial monitoring of funding contracts To grow and nurture the current finance team The successful candidate for the Head of Finance role will: Accountancy qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA Experience within the not for profit and charities sector Have demonstrable track record of effectively managing a finance function at a senior level Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.
