Our client works across key market sectors including commercial, mixed use, retail, student accommodation, logistics and hotels and leisure and have an opportunity for an experienced IT Field Service Engineer to join the team covering Essex and London. About the position… · Onsite support for locations across the South East but predominantly Brentwood and London · 2 nd line technical IT Support for End Users and their devices or applications, always aiming to achieve a first-time fix. · Escalate issues to 3 rd Line and Major Incident teams when required. · Dealing with third parties for ‘expert’ level support for specific requirements. · Covering Out of Hours on a rota basis · Provide a high-level of customer service to all clients · Maintain IT Documentation, documenting troubleshooting procedures and known fixes · Completing both onsite and remote site setups for Construction Sites · Liaising with Network Providers and Installing Network Equipment · Setting up printers onsite, network cabling and hardware configuration · Continuous Improvement, seeking new ways to improve IT service delivery to construction cabin setups · Hands on project delivery, including ad hoc out of hours work to implement changes · Assisting Infrastructure and Technology team with network projects. What we are looking for… · A strong proven background in an IT Service Engineer position, ideally within the Construction industry. · Competent Technical Knowledge and proven ability to resolve IT issues. · Strong Problem-solving skills with a solution focussed approach · Able to devise technical and creative solutions to user issues · Effective communication is key in this role with the ability walk users through the steps they can take to resolve software and hardware issues · Administration and writing skills with experience of report writing · Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise · Flexible, adaptable and proactive approach, with a desire to come up with new ideas · Willing to travel to multiple locations in the UK on a regular basis · Car owner with a full clean licence In return, our client provides an environment that has a focus on learning and development, offering clear career pathways and opportunities, coupled with a variety of benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, medical care, holiday purchase schemes and more.
