Overview
Transport Manager - Castle Donington, Derbyshire Salary £Competitive Pension, Health Care and Incentive Scheme Working for one of the fastest growing Powered Access companies within the UK, you will be heading up and leading the transport department based in Castle Donington. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Controlling the Operator's Licence and meeting the rules stated on our licences Reporting on Working time, MPG, speeding data, fuel usage, infringements, missing mileage Being the point of contact for drivers who have queries regarding their Working Time or infringements Maintaining a fleet of over 300 vehicles booking PMI's, MOT's & services. Liaising with manufacturers for dispute resolutions Maintaining the FORS accreditation Placing orders for new vehicles and arranging disposal of vehicles Controlling new vehicles coming into fleet and arranging all ancillaries to be fitted Chairing quarterly transport meetings for senior management The hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with one day being an 8.30am-17.30pm day, to ensure there is full cover within the office during depot opening times. The ideal candidate: Previous experience as a transport manager would be advantageous Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Methodical and organised Ability to lead and work within a team We offer an excellent benefits package: 23 days holidays per year rising to 25, plus statutory holidays Inclusion in a monthly profit share scheme An auto-enrolment pension scheme with employer contributions (from aged 22, but voluntary enrolment can be made before this age.
