Overview
My client based in Carlisle is looking for a 3.5t van driver to work on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a multi-drop van driving role that involves delivering products directly to client sites. This role will be covering shifts throughout the week & every Saturday, at the moment the requirement is Monday - Saturday. The amount of shifts received may differ weekly. The person that was last placed in this role has now been taken on as a permanent member of staff and is working full time so this is an excellent gateway position if you are looking for a permanent van driving role. The pay rate for this role is £8.21 and you will be paid weekly every Friday. Shift starts for this role will be 06.45am so the successful applicant must be able to travel to Carlisle for this start time. Must be able to travel to Newcastle/Gateshead for registration and Induction - £10 travel costs will be reimbursed on your first payslip. To be successful in this role you must have some experience in a driving role with a full UK driving license and must be flexible for shift Monday - Saturday.
