Overview
Fawkes and Reece have been approached by a leading Residential Developer who has an immediate requirement for a freelance Quantity Surveyor to work on a large Residential New Build project in South East London for an initial period of 6 months. Our client is currently halfway through their largest phase worth £85m, the require a Quantity Surveyor to assist commercial teams on the contract administration side; valuing variations, issuing instructions for approval, updated package sheets on the cost report, processing payments and conducting monthly sub-contractor account meetings as well as taking packages through to final account. The packages that the candidates will be looking after will be as follows: 1.Scaffold Package: EFC; £1.4m 2.Windows Installations Package: EFC; £950K 3.Roofing & Waterproofing Package: EFC; £950K 4.External Works Package: EFC; £1.8m 5.Soft & Hard Landscaping Package: EFC; £1.4m 6.Architectural Metalwork Package: EFC; £1.45m 7.Balconies Package: EFC; £3.5m 8.Carpentry Package: EFC; £3.9m 9.Tiling Package: EFC; £1.4m This Quantity Surveyor opportunity with be in scope of IR35 so will be required to go through an umbrella company.
