Overview
Working as part of the internal IT team of 6 for this long established business in the agricultural sector, this is a great varied role for a natural problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills. This is a multi-site business so excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount as well as the ability to be able explain what can be complex technical matters to a non-IT specialists. This role will cover a variety of assistive tasks including but limited to: First line IT support Configuration & Troubleshooting of Mobile Phones & Tablets Hardware/Software maintenance and installation Managing inventories for IT equipment Keeping accurate records Working closely as part of a close knit team in a varied busy role The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Desktop and Server Products ( including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016 , Exchange, o365) and previous experience in a similar 1st line support role. Due to the rural location of this company, you will require your own transport and free secure parking is provided onsite. This position is easily commutable from Towcester, Weedon, Daventry, Duston and the south side of Northampton.
