Overview
Network Engineer - 6M FTC Glasgow £55,000 per annum pro rata (6M Fixed Term Contract) Our client has a requirement for an experienced Network Engineer who can work for the business during a busy period. You will cover day to day BAU tasks to support all Back End systems and provide hands-on 3rd line operations support for Network Infrastructure. Working with the Architecture and Information Security teams to deliver projects to the agreed design and accountable for technical implementation plans. Technical Skills: Be able to demonstrate in-depth network experience especially in the design and implementation of multi-site LANS and WANs Comprehensive experience of Cisco switching, Cisco Nexus 3k & 9k. Solid understanding of routing protocols including BGP\EIGRP\OSPF In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies with experience of global Aruba deployments In-depth experience with a leading Firewall technology Palo alto\Fortinet\Mcafee
