Overview
BI Analyst / Data Analyst - Manchester We are looking for an experienced BI Analyst / Data Analyst to join a reputable and world leading company within the finance sector. Based in their state-of-the-art Manchester office, your overall goal will be to develop and produce high quality management information to the business. Joining an enthusiastic Data team you will be working on investment data for the board, you will be directly presenting to stakeholders and be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table. Responsibilities: Production of Management Information for both internal & external stakeholders Onboarding portfolios: data mapping & migration. Data quality checks, Data consolidation and remediation Proven ability to mine & manage large sets of data from multiple systems - including working with data owners across the business to improve data quality, identify and close gaps. Conduct testing of all deliverables, document solutions, models, processes & procedures Create regular reports & dashboards, analyse key metrics & prepare data for presentation Skills and Experience: Advanced SQL Knowledge MS Excel skills - Power Pivot, Power Query, VBA Experience with data visualisation/ reporting tools - Power BI, Tableau etc Desirable experience with automation - SSRS, SSIS Experience working with Senior management and stakeholders Strong analytical skills Ability to understand complex data and to be able to present in a clear manner Strong critical thinking skills This is a fantastic opportunity for an experience Data Analyst looking to take the next step in their career.
