Overview

The Role My client is a leading and well know organisation that operates from their office based at Crawley, West Sussex. They are currently looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Analyst to join their team and be responsible for the development and delivery of Infrastructure technologies, applications, products and services to meet the business requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting project implementation schedules serving as a technical expert to participate in or oversee a variety of technical assignments. To be considered for this role you will have at least 3 years’ experience supporting and developing enterprise level Infrastructure services. The successful applicant will have the ability to prioritise their workload across 3rd line support cases, Infrastructure Development activities and Project assignments. You must be able to negotiate with external suppliers and members of the business community to satisfy business requirements. You must also be an individual who displays excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues, 3rd parties and management at all levels. The Candidate Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in 3rd line support role with working knowledge of corporate IT Infrastructure Proven experience of working as an Infrastructure analyst in a large corporate environment. Proven experience of working on a range of projects as an Infrastructure resource, working on infrastructure upgrades and migration projects. VMWARE ESX 6.0 and XenApp Server Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and Windows 7/10 Microsoft infrastructure technologies including DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory, Group Policy Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 or Exchange Online Cloud hosted services and applications i.e. Office 365 and Azure Experience working under industry standard support & service delivery frameworks i.e.ITIL Strong written and verbal communication skills An aptitude to learn and develop new skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment Desirable: Load Balancing technologies i.e. Citrix NetScaler a plus Firewall technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet Cisco Networks Federation services i.e. AD FS NetApp storage Proofpoint email security Good organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to accurately follow procedures and produce quality documentation Desirable skills and qualifications Solarwinds Orion Monitoring Suite HP Blade System including Virtual Connect and C7000 Chassis Familiarity with enterprise-class backup systems: Symantec NetBackup a plus Familiarity with enterprise security systems such as end point protection, IAM, MFA Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) / VMWare Certified Advanced Professional Data Centre Administrator (VCAP-DCA) Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCP-V) for Virtualisation Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Formal ITIL accreditations to Foundation level or above An appreciation of formal project management methodologies preferably Prince2 or APM
