Overview

A fabulous opportunity working in Epsom to support the Head of Business Development and staff (particularly in Business Development, Marketing, and Events) in achieving its activities and targets. For the marketing side of this role you will be expected to assist with a variety of tasks across numerous marketing projects including research and surveys, campaigns, administering the branding guidelines and social media. Job Description: Assist with any email campaigns as required Proof reading and liaising with suppliers; copywriter, designer, printers and courier Keeping stringent up to date records, issuing information post conferences Sourcing articles and liaising with the copywriter and team to obtain information Proofreading articles and obtaining sign off from authors where necessary Work proactively with Head of BD, and the BD/Marketing team Assist in the delivery of communications and marketing of all conferences and events Helping to increase attendance by finding new ways to promote the conferences Uploading contacts weekly and producing the campaigns as and when necessary Searching and ordering branded items and promotional gifts when requested Assisting with maintaining our social media presence Sending out packs to targets or prospects and ensuring packs are always well stocked Assisting in the membership area responding to and communicate with new firm enquiries Ensure all new member applicants receive a press release, invoice etc Finding new ways to increase our online presence to the public Assisting the PR representative and copywriter where possible Tracking and analysing competitor awards, conferences and events Travelling to trade shows and exhibitions when requested Maintain financial records as requested, setting up spreadsheets, verifying statistical reports for completeness and accuracy, creating graphs and reporting Person Specification: Knowledge of marketing (either experience or studies is an advantage) Think creatively and solve problems Work well in a team environment and willing to assist others with their work if asked A flexible "hands on, can do" attitude Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project and Microsoft CRM is a must InDesign, Adobe Photoshop is a benefit, but training may be provided where necessary Business awareness and strong organisational skills Be proactive and take the initiative, be able to work independently.
