Due to an increased workload, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant with a good international technical skillset to join the team asap. This position supports the Finance Team within Business Services, the internal firm services function. The Senior Financial Accountant will play a key role in the International finance team, acting as a business partner to the other business functions and local and Group management. It will successfully accomplish all on-going reporting and statutory activities, ensuring solid controls are in place and functioning. The role is part of a Global Finance Team, spanning the EMEA APAC and US regions and reports to Finance Director. Scope / Purpose Accounting and reporting activities for month end, quarter end and year end (Group Reporting and statutory) Compliance activities and adherence to all set standards Play a key role in the International finance team Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with all the statutory, tax and regulatory filings of the International entities Preparation of the Statutory accounts for International entities including UK Consolidated Accounts under FRS102 Preparation of VAT return for UK entity and other jurisdictions Managing the statutory filings and any other audits for the International entities Manage audit requests from Group Auditors Liaise with the legal department to ensure compliance matters and filings are met on time Provision of data for tax computations for International entities Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review, owning the numbers and taking lead over any improvements needed Provide finance data for client proposals or supplier requests Draft process descriptions and flowcharts for all major Company’s processes Work closely with the Financial Accounting and Finance Director on all allocated projects Document and streamline any activities, simplify things, educate teams around controls and support compliance at all stages Ad hoc analysis and projects Qualifications: Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant - strong preference for Audit training Strong accounting and reporting skills Extensive statutory reporting experience (IFRS & FRS102) Tax experience US GAAP knowledge and preferably previous experience preferable Well-organised approach to work, ability to prioritise tasks, good attention to detail Experienced in Excel, knowledge of Workday is beneficial Ideally with experience with ERP changes A Resilient hands-on individual who can successfully operate in a high paced environment A team player who works collaboratively with colleagues Good communication skills and professional attitude Proactive, self-starter with a "can do" attitude Positive, engaged, ambitious and self-driven, with an internal motivation to learn and professionally develop Capable of multitasking and correlating information Ability to handle large international network (email correspondence, conference calls, live meetings, etc.) Working experience within an International environment ideally gained within a professional services environment
