Overview
A temporary, full-time 1st Line Support Desk position in Carlisle Your new company A large public sector organisation. Your new role Working within the Support Services team you will be responsible for providing 1st line support to your colleagues and service users. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming telephone and email enquiries regarding 1st line IT issues, logging issues and forwarding to 2nd line support where necessary, providing password resets and supporting with login issues. This role is ideally full-time, however, a 4 day working week would be considered for the right candidate. What you'll need to succeed You will have at least 1 years recent experience within an office based customer service role, ideally providing 1st line IT support. You will have confident communication skills and exceptional customer services ability with a professional telephone manner. You will ideally have an efficient and methodical approach to your workload, able to keep calm under pressure. You will have strong IT understanding, able to explain through IT resolutions.
