Project Engineer Topside
Overview
My client is renowned FPSO owner & operator who is looking for a subsea project manager to join on a short term contract basis in their office in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for establishing procedure/work-packs for, production shutdown, flushing, cleaning, draining and gas freeing of Topside. A contractor will be engaged to produce this documentation, but as a project engineer you shall lead the work. Ensure necessary equipment and material for the above mention scope are ordered in due time for executing of the work onboard. Handling of contaminated material, NORMs from Topside systems It is essential that you have held a senior position on or offshore on a North Sea manned production installation ideally on a floating production installation OR must have held a similar onshore role with an FPSO operator and duty holder. The ability to demonstrate a credible track record in working in an onshore office environment in support of operations projects is a must. BSc in a relevant technical discipline, ideally process or chemical engineering or as a minimum a Higher National Certificate in a relevant technical discipline combined with proven knowledge within a similar role.
