The Company: Our client is a well-established international manufacturing company within Engineering Main Duties: To provide excellent customer service, sales technical support and secure sales on the European market The Role: - Provide technical support and advise to clients on a range of customer products - Define customer requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions and services - Responding to inbound sales calls and selling/upselling to customers - Liaise between the customer and internal departments for sales support - Provide quotations and process sales order - Provide market intelligence and feedback on competitors - Contact existing and potential clients to promote services & products - Follow up on leads and quotations in order to secure sales - Reach and exceed quarterly targets within the sales team - Occasionally visit key clients to introduce products and maximise sales The Candidate: - Fluent in English (Written & Spoken) - Additional language such as French or Spanish or Italian or Dutch/Flemish highly desirable - Previous experience in a technical sales engineer role - Previous experience working with Instrumentation applications (temperatures, pressures, sensors etc) - Degree educated in a technical field (preferably C&I or Electrical) - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - Confident, proactive & dynamic - Computer literate (SAP, ERP, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint…) Salary: Up to £40,000 basic (DOE) Bonus Benefits French Selection UK - The leading recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian speaking professionals and executives throughout the United Kingdom.
