As a Senior Software Engineer , you are the key that unlocks the potential for technically excellent, high quality delivery in your team. This Senior Software Engineer role presents an opportunity for high-level strategic ownership, from owning and building large areas of the product service and ecosystem to improving and evolving the core infrastructure to optimise deployment and scale the overall platform architecture. You’ll also collaborate with Product Owners, formulating an elevated overview of the company and its objectives to eliminate barriers to development. There is a strong pipeline of Greenfield projects, where you will provide technical leadership to teams to improve internal and client facing interfaces, mitigating risk and building tools for multi-party communication. The work is exciting and diverse, predominantly using Java and Ruby, with exposure to emerging technologies. Requirements: You can write technically excellent code in high level programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python You have experience taking ownership of an application, product or infrastructure You have technical leadership experience, and are a positive, motivating team lead You’re a passionate Software Engineer, keen to work with emerging technologies like Kotlin on AWS You have strong collaboration skills, able to build robust working relationships You’re naturally analytical and process-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll earn a highly competitive salary (to £110k) plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
