Overview

We are looking to recruit an Inspector who will undertake routine testing and inspection and ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements. Main responsibilities: Raising of data cards and build sheets to ensure compliance with customer drawings and specifications. Carry out testing requirements on heat treated components. Prepare release documentation. Check compliance to Quality Systems and customer specifications. Maintain daily check requirements. Assist in operation of S.O.P. and job identification systems. Co-ordinate Quality records retention Assist in preparation for and participate in External Quality Audits. Maintain good working practices and housekeeping in line with company health, safety, environmental and quality systems. The jobholder must communicate with management/production and transport personnel to maximise the efficient operation of the facility. Recognise potential improvement in testing methods and procedures with a view to "cost effective" operation. Liaise with customers to develop positive customer/supplier relationships. Prioritise inspection requirements. Qualifications, experience and skills: Formal qualification and or relevant experience as recognised by site management team.
