Overview
Interim Management Accountant Tilmanstone £40,000 - £45,000 Modern award-winning group have an immediate requirement for a commercially astute Management Accountant. You will play a key role in supporting with a range of added value projects alongside business as usual management accounting and financial reporting. This is a fast paced and innovative manufacturing environment and you must have previous experience within the manufacturing sector (ideally as management accountant or within FP&A). The business is amid an exciting and interesting period of change and investment. The initial assignment is on an interim contract basis however there is certainly opportunity for the role to become permanent. Your remit will include: Month management accounting. Analysis of P&L and reporting around margin, profit streams, variances and costs. Presentation of management information and insightful commercial reporting to outline factory productivity / efficient. Investigating and commenting on material variance and labour spend. Business partnering - working with colleagues across the operational leadership team to create a bridge between finance and ops areas. "Bringing the numbers to life". Involvement in budgeting and forecasting. Developing reporting where appropriate. Supporting month end close. The Head of Finance is seeking: A diligent and proactive accountant with experience of a manufacturing / production environment. Someone with excellent management accounting / reporting experience who will be able to confidently hit the ground running. An individual who is calm and measured and approaches problem solving with a smile on their face A team player with excellent communication skills. Someone able to start immediately (Feb / early March 2020)
