Permanent Credit Control Team Leader- Brand New Credit Function Based in Salford Your new company Hays have partnered with a leading Financial Service business who are setting a brand-new Credit function in Salford. They are a global business that priorities relationships with their clients over anything else and that mentality has resulted in massive growth. Founded over 200 years ago they record a client satisfaction rate of 93% which is un heard of in the industry. The finance service centre will be over 150 strong and Credit is going to be the key area to drive the business forward. Your new role This is a full time permanent job that involves more than just collecting the debt. Building relationships with clients and up selling where possible is a key aspect of the job. Your typical duties include; providing a high level of service to all clients, proactively asses the teams qualities to develop their portfolios, lead a team of Credit Controllers to deliver an excellent service to clients, measure team performances, one to one's, appraisals, ensure good communication with internal & external stakeholders, look at bad debt & risk situations and identify new business opportunities. The standard hours are 9am-5pm with some flexibility on start and finish times (e.g. 8.30- 4.30pm). What you'll need to succeed To be considered you must have a strong background in Credit Control and strong leadership skills. Previous professional services experience is a bonus but by no means essential. What you'll get in return You will be an integral part of constructing a brand-new finance service centre and have access to rapid career progression. If you embrace the job and hit your KPI's after 12 months your salary will increase to £32,000 and then £35,000 after two years- this is purely based on individual performance and not company performance, so you are fully in control of your own progression. As standard you will get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to buy and sell.
