Overview
Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Audit Senior to join an established Essex accountancy group based in their Southend office. This firm are looking for a talented and driven qualified accountant to join their successful team. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step up in their accountancy career with a highly regarded firm. Responsibilities: The role will report to Directors, Associates, Managers and Client Managers. Prioritise and be accountable for the planning and completion of the work assigned to you. Build on your practical experience. Complete assignments for passing to Director/Associate without supervision. Review other team members work. Lead and take responsibility for the audit at client premises, supervising work to meet the planning objectives set. Apply practical experience and technical knowledge to fulfil the purpose of your role. Required Skills / Qualifications Applicants must be ACA or ACCA qualified. Must have up to date and appropriate knowledge/skills in your technical field to enable you to fulfil the purpose of the role. A strong practice background is preferred.
