Overview
Rutherford Briant are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join an established Essex accountancy group based in their Southend office. This firm are looking for a talented and driven accountant to join their successful team. This would be a great opportunity for somebody looking to take the next step up in their accountancy career with a progressive firm that will help them through their professional qualifications. Responsibilities: Under the supervision from Managers, Client Managers and Seniors build on accounts and audit and associated other work. Complete audit work in accordance with planning documentation. Produce draft accounts, identifying problem areas and making sense of results. Develop a good working knowledge of the firms processes and systems. Able to identify areas where you can help the client in their business. To take responsibility for individual assignments, ensuring the effective and timely delivery and the quality of service meets the companies aims. Required Skills / Qualifications Ideally AAT qualified or relevant practice experience. Three B grades at A level or at least a 2:1 degree.
