D evelopment Underwriter - PI, D&O, Cyber £40,000 - £50,000 package, bonus London (Ref SR2019097) As an underwriting professional seeking greater market exposure and increased responsibility for your panel, this role is a real hybrid of technical underwriting and market facing trading. You’ll join a global insurance firm at the very peak of the market, tasked with driving growth from your brokers through strategic methods - sitting down with stakeholders, discussing the strategy, managing the account, planning for growth for the year and then delivering on it. The firm is a leading player in regard to professions products and wording, this role is focussed on Professional Indemnity, D&O and Cyber risks, aiming to increase market share in the mid-market space. This is not a role aiming for transactional business, or quick wins, it’s about reciprocal relationships that yield real value.
