Overview
Our client, a market leading corporation, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their expanding team to support the Head of Tax and to take responsibility for all aspects of tax, Health check existing methods, ensure the quality and relevance of work produced. Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Tax with development and management of the team Make sure all systems are in place to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of all tax requirements Keep up to date and on top of all tax matters and HMRC requirements as well as updating the department Health check existing methods, ensure the quality and relevance of work produced Arrange meetings and oversee correct process is followed Maintain accounting records Produce financial statements Requirements Diverse experience to covering the whole process from trial balance, income and expense reporting, statistical analysis as well as taxation Demonstrable understanding of the importance of financial, reporting and period variance analysis Strong people management skills Advanced Excel skills Strong knowledge of accounting and computer systems Ability to hit the ground running This is a full-time, contract role working Monday - Friday.
