Job Role: Payroll Administrator Function: Human Resources Location: Edinburgh Salary: £22050 - £27000 Our client, a large UK bank currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to provide operational support to our business. They are embarking on a digital transformation journey and this could bring exciting opportunities for the successful candidate to get involved. Working within the HR function the role includes: Data Entry of all payroll transactions, i.e. new starts, leavers, changes, court orders etc., Query Management Telephony support Required skills: Previous operational Payroll experience is essential Ability to deal with Payroll enquiries Ability to provide guidance and advice to internal customers, resolving queries including those of a more complex / sensitive nature. Strong communication skills. Highly organised to deliver Payroll services within agreed SLAs. Knowledge of legislation, statutory entitlements and payments would be advantageous. Experience of HR/Payroll systems, specifically SAP would be ideal Desirable skills Support and contribute to the delivery of Payroll projects. Assist less experienced staff and cross skill with other areas of the HR Partner Services function.
