Overview

Category Manager The main responsibilities for the job include: Comprehensive management of specific warehouse executive customer accounts; their financial and operational performance, ensuring full customer satisfaction equal to or greater than budget. Operational financial performance. Production and maintenance of tariffs, charges and invoicing. Customer Contract renewal. Management, assessment, training, and development of assigned Warehouse employees. Promote and ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures. Appraise and maintain the Quality / ISO Manuals and operational Handbooks. Create and maintain effective communication with the customer, suppliers and other departments. Provide the customer with a regular and informative account service level and KPI report. Working closely and in full consultation with the customer, critically and in detail forecast and plan their stock holding requirements per the warehouse. In the event, the main warehouse facility is forecast to be full, present to the customer suitable alternative arrangements. Complete regular cycle counts and inventory audits in accordance with the customer's Contract, SLAs, SOPs and Company procedures. Establish and maintain a stock accuracy and an order pick accuracy to within agreed KPIs. Manage the Warehouse Administration and assigned staff ensuring they complete their accountabilities/responsibilities in an effective, timely and accurate manner. Deliver a financial performance equal to or greater than Budget and report upon each month's actual performance against Budget. Prepare customer records for ad hoc and month-end charging, ensuring accuracy. Record, report and resolve all customer complaints or any major incidents. Analyse statistics or other data to determine the level of Company customer service and customer satisfaction. Actively explore and implement improved processes and procedures that will provide service excellence. Engage in customer review meetings; exploring new business opportunities and build long term relationships. Research and implement profit and process improvement plans. Keep up to date with the Company's products and service offerings and disseminate to relevant employees. Keep your Line Manager informed of any issues involving day to day operations, customers or staff. Be reactive to daily problems and be prepared to be reactive and on call for emergencies. Any duties/tasks as requested by your Line Manager or a Director. Our client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following skills and experience: Degree standard in Maths and English. Management qualification Experience in analysing data Experience in Stock Forecasting Experience in Stock Planning A proven track record of in-stock and inventory management would be an advantage.
