NLP Data Science Consultant Birmingham £50,000 - £80,000 DOE Package If you are a Senior Data Scientist with experience working with Big Data Technologies, looking for your next exciting role then you’ll want to read on. MBN’s client, one of the largest consultancies in the UK are dramatically expanding their data function, on top of an already established team. They are looking for an NLP Data Scientist to come in and own key client projects. Working with enterprises to define their data strategy and roadmaps, build a variety of models to create value in the data and for the clients. Clients vary, as do their data demands. You’ll need to be able to explain how Data Science can provide value, to people of a nontechnical mind. This is an opportunity to join a leading consultancy at an exciting time in their growth of the data team. Essentials · Proficiency in Python · At least 2 years applying NLP techniques in a commercial environment. · Hands-on Spark experience (both batch and stream processing) · Hadoop ecosystem exposure (YARN, HDFS, HBase, custom MapReduce jobs, Hive/Impala · General SQL skills Advantageous · Previous Consultancy experience · A natural motivation to travel and work in a client facing environment · Agile working experience.
