Application Packager Farnborough £40,000 - £45,000 Excellent Benefits Our client is a leading technology service provider who work with a number of reputable clients worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Application Packager to join their growing team based in Farnborough. The role will support over 500 applications across the business and they are seeking an Application Packager with strong experience in packaging SCCM. Responsibilities Support the Head of IT operations in delivery of IT Services and improvements Ensure provisioned software meets company and security standards to help maintain the security and stability of the networks and client devices. Ensuring updates are deployed and applied inline with requirements, procedure and expectations Troubleshooting issues relating to application deployment and installation configuration Ensure relevant packaging, provisioning and patching documentation is full and complete and communicate any shortfalls to colleagues and Line Management. Compliance with security policies and requirements across IT technologies Participate in the evaluation and installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and system patches Ensure software applications are provisioned whilst adhering to process, governance and good practice Experience Required Strong experience in SCCM packaging Ability to effectively liaise directly with development and operations teams Professional and confident approach to customer based work, projects and meetings. Good analytical, interpersonal and organization skills Good cross-team working and communication skills. Ability to assist in the production of documents, such as user and engineer guides and procedures. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
