Overview
A Hardware Applications Engineer, qualified to Degree level and with a hardware product development or support background will join a Globally respected Company at their Hampshire offices. You’ll bring an enquiring mind and excellent problem solving skills to provide technical support throughout all phases of the design cycle to European customers, with a focus on the areas of electronic hardware systems, digital and power management design support. The ideal Hardware Applications Engineer will bring: A minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline. 2 years’ Field Applications experience or related work experience. Proven experience either in hardware product design or support engineering. Knowledge in design of hardware systems and circuits. Experience in analogue / digital design in some of the following areas: Memory, CPU/DSP, Audio, PSU, Power management, Interfaces, LCD’s, Camera. Excellent customer facing skills. The successful Hardware Applications Engineer will research and answer a wide range of in-depth technical questions, resolving technical problems and providing on-site customer support where needed as well as aiding customers to implement new technology using the company chipsets. Applicants must be fully eligible to work in the UK and travel throughout Europe without restrictions. A competitive salary will be offered.
